Hey guys,
a friend linked me to a video of Gamerbach playing the Gamecube startup sound on the piano, and his video linked to here, so I decided to check out the link, saw that there are a ton of other people interested in game music over here,
so I figured I'd join.

I've been taking lessons for 8-9 years now,
and while my teacher always makes me play a bunch of classical stuff, I'm always picking out a ton of game music by ear.
I started messing around with Finale Notepad a couple years back, since some of my friends had asked to write sheets for them (I never got around to doing the songs they wanted though. XP ) and I've written out a few piano arrangements for game, anime, Jpop, and Swedish (Caramell stuff) songs, so I'll probably upload some of them sometime soon.

(Also, sidenote: I don't really know why, but I absolutely HATE using sheet music when I'm trying to LEARN a game song.
I usually pick everything out by ear, and more then half of the occasional times I've needed to find sheets when I can't figure out certain notes, the sheets I find usually have the same mistakes I was trying to fix in them, and I end up figuring it out my self later anyway.  Undecided )

I've got a Youtube channel over here:
www.Youtube.com/PianoGameboy

I keep trying to get an update schedule set up but I'm always either running into technical difficulties, or I'm just too busy.

There was something else I was gonna say, but I don't remember what it was, so... yeah.

tl;dr version:
OHAY GUISE IM NEW WATS UP LETS B FRIENDS O YEA COOL URFBOWND SMILIES LOLOLOL

EDIT: How the heck does the Mario Paint ufo look "undecided"?

I guess that Gamerbach's video is pretty high up on Youtube, becuase there always seems to be someone joining just to ask if we have it (on paper). I'm glad you joined! If by "ton" you mean 10...every new member counts, especially when so many of those just leave after a few posts.

I'll be happy to see them when the come out!

Frustrating, I know. It's good you noticed those mistakes, I usually shoot for 100% accuracy, and then arrange it from there.

Beats me. I've been on here a while, and I never even thought about it.

@Wazkatango:
Well, what I meant to say was a ton of people compared to other sites..?
I don't know, I should've used a different word.

@Omega: Should I call an ambulance?

I'll probably try to upload some of my stuff later tonight,
but I've got two questions:
1. What section of the forums should I put them in?
2. Are .mus files ok?
I'd upload everything in .pdf form, but my compy seems to hate converting anything to .pdf at the moment.
It freezes and I usually end up having to restart it.

1. The "Critique Me" section explains itself if you go there, but you can also try posting them in the "Video Game Music" subforum (under General).
2. Generally yes. I usually have my sheets presented as MIDI file to listen to, and a PDF document to read/print. The only reason I don't have them as .mus files is because I own Finale '09, and virtually no one would be able to open those.

Have you tried CutePDF?
