Hey y'all!

I've been wondering this for a while, so I figured I would finally ask: is the Aladdin: Rug Ride theme possible to play without modification? There are a lot of sustained notes that seem to make other notes unreachable... and when you take into account how fast some of these notes are, you'd have to be playing quite a bit of those 16th notes with only finger 1 or 5.

Has anyone every successfully played it? If not, would you be able to? Thanks for your help!

Sustain those notes with the pedal as long as you can (as long as the harmony doesn't get too mixed).

I could play it when I made it, except bar 36 at full speed. w3sp always laughed and said that bar was impossible to play so fast.

Do you mean with the standard sustain pedal, or one of the weird ones, likes sostenuto? I never did quite figure out how to put the sostenuto pedal to practical use.

Yes, I meant the standard sustain pedal. Using the sostenuto pedal would be even better in many cases, but I have no experience using it, since all I own is an upright piano.  embarassed
